Business Requirement
Through design discovery process, and utilizing/evolving the existing Home Depot Stencil Design System, I was tasked as the lead creative with re-envisioning the current state Customer Service Help Center and subsequently test our hypotheses and designs with current customers using usertesting.com and direct interview sessions.

Primary Objective
Assist New PowerBI developers on designing and producing consistent UI standards for Cybersecurity leadership report dashboards.
Create a design guide and component library for Cybersecurity PowerBI platform to help developers build consistent looking UX/UI patterns to promote Home Depot brand integrity and their own design system within Cyber group.
I used Home Depot’s “THD ANT Design System” as the foundation and created a Cybersecurity-specific component library and guide where use cases were not covered by the primary design system. This included establishing a cohesive POV on graphs, charts, and complex data tables where no precedents had been designed or established before.
Cybersecurity Design Guide & Component Library
After establishing brand new UI patterns to assist Home Depot PowerBI platform developers, I also created a Cyber Design Guide for non-creative Product Owners and Project Managers to understand our intentional design efforts to standardize UI for building leadership dashboard reports. Additionally, I created and implemented a Cyber Component Library to work with the guide and cross-linked the guide and components using Figma. The goal is to help new PowerBI devs understand how to assemble reports and to help new designers use Figma templates and components in the Cyber space.
Project Intake Platform
I aided the team in their ongoing effort to rethink and redesign their internal-facing Project Intake Platform for their managers and leadership complete UX/UI makeover of a very outdated system utilizing the current Home Depot "ANT Design System".
Delivery Enablement PowerBI Leadership Dashboards
The first goal of this engagement was to assist PowerBI developers on the Cybersecurity team, who did not have a UX practitioner to help them stylize the UI or think through UX challenges on the platform. I introduced a standard design > development process and helped them redesign all their leadership dashboards and reports. From this, the Cybersecurity Design Guide and Component Library was born!
